Before agreeing: Confirm plant/product identity, size, quantity, condition, recent photographs, price, availability, delivery or pickup arrangements, expected delivery time and any additional charges.
Use clear communication
Use clear communication: Keep important negotiation details in Plantalove Messages where possible. Do not rely on unclear verbal promises or incomplete descriptions.
Payments
Payments: Do not send money until you have independently confirmed the seller, item and agreed terms. Use a payment method that provides an appropriate transaction record. Never share OTPs, passwords, PINs, CVV numbers or login credentials.
Local transactions
Local transactions: For plants, local pickup or shorter-distance delivery can reduce transportation stress because plants are living products. Inspect the item where practical before completing a local transaction.
Red flags
Red flags: Be cautious of unusually low prices, pressure to pay immediately, requests to move the entire conversation off-platform, mismatched seller/product information, suspicious payment links or requests for sensitive financial information.
Disputes and fraud
Disputes and fraud: Preserve listing details, messages, payment records and delivery evidence. Contact Plantalove through the Contact Us channel if you need to report suspicious activity or a platform-related issue.
